Officers 2005-2006

President Kate Olson kaolson@du.edu

-The fiercest of the fierce, the roughest of the rough, the enthustiac leader of DUAC, Kate is a highly accomplished outdoors-woman. She really likes the outdoors, I mean really likes it, and that's why she is our "president."

Ryan Anderson, Vice President randers4@du.edu

-Performing all the dirty tasks that are passed down to him, Ryan is one unstoppable beast. The majority of his inner-strength must come from all that crazy backcountry skiing he is so fond of.

Josh Carson, Treasurer jocarson@du.edu

-The only person that actually does any real work, Josh spends long nights and long days crunching numbers and figuring out the budget. Besides that, you might find him climbing in Moab, biking in the Rockies or hanging out with his crazy Club friends.

Craig McQueen, Secretary cmcqueen@du.edu

-Craig is the embodiment of DUAC. The humor and good times Craig brings to the club amptly makes up for his secretarial skills. His ability to lead climbs, trek up mountains, and make everyone have a good time is an experience in itself.

Laura McNeil, Publicity lmcneil@du.edu

-Bringing new ideas and thoughts to the club, Laura is the one that makes sure you know when and where the meetings and activites are happening. An avid hiker, it's not uncommon to find her trekking about the rockies and taking in the views.

Erin Wafer, Publicity ewafer@du.edu

-Fully understanding the complex skills that it takes to create posters that require to be taped up is Erin's forte. Besides that Erin is enthustiac about trying just about anything (outdoors that is), which makes her a very exciting person to be around.

Amy Molsberry, Sponsorship amolsber@du.edu

-Said to be the offspring of aWolf, a Mountain Lion and a Sparrow (test results pending), Amy knows the ways of the outdoors. Bringing a backbone to the table she is the one responsible for your discounts at local stores, climbing gyms, etc. Amy also enjoys leading climbs, braving the backcountry, and enjoying the snow.

Andy Librande, Equipment Manager alibrand@du.edu

-Sometimes we wonder where we found this kid, or how he found us, anyways he makes about any club activity that much more exciting. Managing the hell out of the equipment, you can usually find him roaming the backcountry or climbing at any of the hotspots in the area.

Paul Ochenrider, Equipment Manager pochenri@du.edu

-Paul is a very interesting one, and that's why Andy and him were selected as teammates as equipment managers. Paul's ability to make himself always look busy and never be at fault for anything, makes him a very good companion to anyone that likes to get in a little bit of trouble.

Liz Keltner, Historian ekeltner@du.edu

-"She get's wild in the mountains," and that is not a quote but a fact of life, and that is all you need to know about her.

Adam Ruberg, Historian aruberg@du.edu

-The one with the most sense about him, the most intelligence, and close to being the best-looking(contest still under way), Adam is one prime canadiate for Historian. Luckily, he likes to take photos, and it's just a bonus that he comes on trips, so with those two amazing skills, we bring you the MEDIA section.

Theo Jordan, Programs tjordan1@du.edu

-Theo, Theo, Theo...she is a very hard one to contain, luckily though we had extra money at the end of last year and were able to buy a cage for her. We only let her out when we are prepared to laugh our heads off as she displays her crazy antics.

Brad Rosenfeld, Program Coordinator brosenfe@du.edu

-Brad has been semi-offically restricted from many Club activities, as he has the largest record of injuries and illnesses of anyone, in the shortest period. Ever. Besides that, we have found a useful and "safe" place for Brad arranging for speakers and other activities to make meetings more exciting.

Zach Poppel, zpoppel@du.edu

-Exploring the depths of the human mind, one might come across a personality closely related to Poppel's...well maybe not. Anyways, Poppel is one fun and interesting person to hang out with and bring along on trips, not to mention he has a wealth of wisdom as he was our VP last year.

Tim Spano, International Man of Mystery tspano@du.edu

-Not much is known about Tim. Nor do we want to know much. We believe we found him in the gutter in some back alley, however he assures us that he is a "undercover agent", so to keep him occupied we make him fill in the spots of missing officers. Tim also enjoys long walks along the beaches, backcountry skiing, and the occasional climb.

Nate Rowland, Officer Educator nrowland@du.edu

-We call him "grandpa", mostly because of his gray hair, but also because he has been around for a long time, and we could not get rid of him. So we gave him a desk, a title, and that's kept him pretty quite for the time being. Wait until the desk moves to the basement, and then he stops receiving his paycheck and then...haha...hahaha....hahahahaha...sucka.
